Rhona W. Gross lives in Mooresville, NC where she creates her stunning mixed media still lifes and cityscapes in her home studio. She brings to her art a strong background of her own classical traing in the arts. She earned her BFA in Art Education from the Philadelphia College of Art, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her Masters of Art Education, Printmaking from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Rhona has been working and sharing her artistic talents for a number of years as an art teacher on the college level and the elementary and high school levels. She was honored with the Teacher of the Year award for her talents and hard work in 1998.
Today Rhona says she is retired, but she creates her art full time, as well as plays her piano, harp and banjo, and knits and reads a book or two. |
