July 26th -30th ‘Around the World—Multicultural Arts’ 10am – 2pm $140 for first child $112 for second child $100 for any additional child
Pack your imaginary bags as we travel to the exotic locales of Asia, Africa, Australia, South America and the Middle East. Students will explore, drawing, painting, mask painting, printing and mixed media as they discover the rich art traditions of each region. Chinese Dragon Drawings, Tribal Beads, Digeridoos, Mexican Folk Painting and Egyptian Portraits will be explored just to name a few.
August 2nd -6th ‘The Fun of Art and Creation’ 10am – 2pm $140 for first child $112 for second child $100 for any additional child Or $30 per day
We will spend a week working with some of the ways that art is created. This will be a little bit of this and a little bit of that: Drawing, Painting, Foam Sculpture, Weaving and Non-Objective Drawings as well as others. This is time to be creative!!

Let’s have a party—for a whole week! We are invited to celebrations from around the world; Mardi Gras, Dia de los Muertos, St. Patrick’s Day, Arbor Day and the Chinese New Year and will use collage, painting, drawing, masks and many other creative activities to have fun. A few of our activities will be creating New Orleans Necklaces, Skeleton Collages, Celtic Knot Drawing, Tree Sculpture, Chinese Lanterns and so much more.
***All classes require pre-registrations (even for Week 2 daily rate).
Currents Magazine, the premier Lake Norman Magazine, is featuring Historic Downtown Mooresville's Art Walk in upcoming issues. The "calendar" will feature the art walk on a monthly basis.
