SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE:

OPEN-LIFE DRAWING
This offering will be open to all adults (do not worry about your "skill" level!) who would like to be a part of the creative artist environment. One night each week the Artworks on Main classroom will host a theme night which will include a live model dressed in the costume appropriate to the theme. We will supply an easel, music, wine, and cheese to create a social evening. Bring your own supplies or purchase them from the Artworks on Main Supply Store.

KIDS CAMP
DRAWING and BEYOND

This is a Kids Camp for boys and girls ages 10-13
3 days, 2 hour long classes, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, August 13th 14th and 15th, 9am – 11 am.
Ages 10-13
Instructor: Isabelle Griesmyer

In this art camp Mrs. Griesmyer will gently guide the student to improve their drawing skills with line, shape, form, texture, and then go beyond drawing to explore value, color and the principles of design in their art.

One of the learning techniques used to accomplish these goals will have the students duplicate a drawing that is positioned upside down to the artist. Another technique will incorporate a linear perspective project which will explore creating realistic three dimensional objects on a two dimensional drawing surface.

Several mediums will be used in this camp to enhance the skills of these emerging artists: Artists drawing pencils, pastels, watercolors, gouache paint and clay.

This 3-day camp “Drawing and Beyond” would be a rewarding experience for any young artist.

Cost: $60.00
